Promise

Purple Paint is a 501(c)3 non profit organization which aspires to be a humanitarian organization that serves children in need around the world selflessly and with compassion to create a positive impact on society. Through Purple Paint, I am on a mission to help children around the world. I am passionate about making a difference in my community. I am using my artistic skills to create beautiful paintings. The purpose behind creating these paintings is to raise funds by selling them to patrons like you. I go to various charities and raise funds by selling the paintings. All of the proceeds are then, donated to the charity. From there they go to people in need.  I have learned that each drop, each painting, and each stroke counts. I am hopeful that you will support me by purchasing my paintings. Through Purple Paint I have been able to accomplish this little by little. Please visit the “Past Projects” to learn more. Children are the future of our society and the Earth we live on. Unfortunately, there are millions of children around the world specifically in India who need help. Purple Paint’s sole mission is to help children around the world in the areas of health and education. This is NOT an event, it is a long journey. I hope you will join this journey. If you like a painting on my website and would like to purchase a painting, please contact me via the contact page.

A Humble beginning

Hi! My name is Riya and I am 16 years old. In 2016, I had gone to an art camp where I made a lion sketch. I was so happy and my Mother and I framed it and carried it home. Since we had just moved we were living in a hotel, and as we brought the sketch in, the manager of the hotel eyed my sketch. He then asked me how much I was selling it for. I thought he was just joking and I told him a price. Later, I learned that when I was at school, he had bought my sketch. I thought that this was just a one-time thing, but this is just the beginning of my story. In 2017, my family and I went to a charity called HHH ( Heart and Hand for the Handicapped) which supports children that are differently able. The next day I did a little research about HHH and when I looked at the challenged kids and their stories, I was devasted. I told myself that I had to help one way or another. It dawned on me that I could sell more paintings and donate all the money to charities like HHH. After a few weeks, we went to a charity called SKN and in those weeks I managed to gather five paintings. Luckily, I was able to sell all of them for $400 and donated all of it. I was delighted that I was able to donate money and help someone else that is less fortunate than me. After this, I was invited to two more events. I have to say this is an exciting opportunity, and I am not doing this alone. I am supported by my parents, my sister, and all of my close friends, but they are not the only ones. You are also supporting me and this cause. With your help, I will be able to raise the money for those kids out there who need our help. I thank everyone so much for all the support and if you keep visiting my site, I will always be updating you with more information.
