Snehalaya’s mission is to develop the awareness and capabilities of individuals who have been deprived of their fundamental rights as a result of the inequalities that exist in our society.

What did Purple Paint do?
We visited the Snehalaya America’s Fundraising Event “Surmaii Sham” ( This means Evening of Melodies) and set up an exhibition of all of my paintings. Crowds of people showed interest in our cause. We were able to sell five paintings and raise about $500 for donation.
